I'm not even going to do an intro let me just tell you how to make these delicious smoothies so you can try them for yourself!
1. Chocolate banana
This is probably the smoothie I make most. I love having it before or after a workout for some energy or after a meal as a creamy dessert.
There's two ways you can make it. For the first one, you'll need: 1 banana 1 spoon of nut butter 1 spoon of cocoa powder 1 spoon of chia seeds or flaxseed (optional) 1 cup of nut/oat milk Blend everything together! If you like your smoothies thick, you might want to try half a cup of milk and blend more in if you need it. The second way to make it is with: 1 banana 1 scoop of protein (preferably unsweetened, no artificial flavors) 1 cup water The second is really just a protein shake with a banana and it tastes amazing with PlantFusion protein (both chocolate and vanilla flavors go well). If the protein you use is really plain, you can also add the other ingredients from recipe 1!
2. Green machine
My favorite green smoothie as of now is this baby. I usually have it 2-3 times a week. It's great for digestion, hydration and gut health.
You will need: 1 stick of celery 3 slices of ginger 4 cubes of pineapple (about 1 cup) Handful of spinach Half a lemon squeezed (optional) Blend everything together, separate the layers if you feel like - or keep them and get some extra fiber! I usually add water to this as well.
3. Carrot ginger
This smoothie was inspired by a café I used to go to in Córdoba called La Bicicleta. The original way they make it is with freshly squeezed orange juice. You can do that instead of adding the oranges in directly - but it tastes great either way.
You will need:
1 carrot 1 orange 4 slices of ginger Throw everything in and blend blend blend!
